Jana was coming down the stairs when she saw Yousif

His back to her , hands running through his light brown hair

" Hey .. "She said gently as she stopped at the staircase

He turned around to look at her , he smiled but it didn't reach his eyes " hey .. "

" You took a while i thought i come here and see what's wrong .. "

" No no nothing's wrong .. "

" Then what is it ? "

" I just .. got a call .. "

" lo allah bas yfekna mn hal calls Yousif .. " She shook her head

Her heart was pounding fast , she had a feeling she wasn't going to like what Yousif was about to say

" Jana i have to go back .. i have to go back to Kuwait .. "

Jana didn't say anything , she just stood there and stared at him

Yousif didn't know what that look meant , but he knew behind it was a very angry Jana ..

" Baby i need you to understand- "

" UNDERSTAND WHAT ?! " She cut him off

He sighed and looked at the floor , she swallowed and began again

" I understand Yousif .. i understand a hell lot of things about your job .. your life .. but at this point i just don't know WHAT to take in .. "

He looked at her with pain in his eyes , she could see it clearly

" But .. one day you tell me you're going somewhere with 7arith and end up being shot .. you get phone calls all the time from mysterious people telling you to do things you don't want to do .. and most importantly .. you're leaving me behind "

His heart ached at that last one .. she was right .. he knew she was right

Then They both heard the baby cry , " You're leaving US behind .. " Jana finaly said shaking her head and hurrying to baby 3aziiz

But that was his job , that was him ..

She knew all about that when they first got involved , he couldn't change it now

And it wasn't his choice to leave them , but he had to do it

He walked in the room and saw her sitting on the bed holding the now quiet baby 3aziz in her arms , he moved closer and sat on the bed infront of her

He kissed her forehead but nothing happened , she didn't say a word , she didn't even flench

" Did you feed him ? " He asked

" He doesn't want food .. " She told him without looking up

He looked at the angel sleeping in her arms

" You know when a woman feeds her baby .. all of her feelings are transmitted to him while she she does .. he feels what she feels .. "

He looked up at her

"All the while when you're gone .. am going to be scared and angry and sad .. " A tear escaped her eyes

Yousif looked down again and breathed heavily

" I don't want our baby to feel that way too .. " She finaly said

He moved closer to her and took her and the baby both in his big arms

" Am sorry baby .. " He said " I swear am so sorry .. "

" Just don't get shot .. please .. " She told him

He laughed while he burried his face in her curls and kissed her and the baby one more time

She got up and put the baby gently in his crib once again

" So .. when do you leave ? .." She asked without turning to look at him , a part of her was afraid to

" Tomorrow night .. "

Jana Closed her eyes shut , she tried to breathe and tell herself it was okay

Too soon ? maybe .. but we'll be just fine .. she kept saying

He got up and took her in his arms again

He wiped away the tears left on her face and they went to bed

He didn't let go of her not once , even when she tossed and turned at night , he still held her

He didn't sleep , he just stared at her , he was afraid of missing her

He was afraid of leaving her

Of leaving 3bdul3aziiz

Because deep down inside , he knew the effect of that on him

The next day Yousif called 7arith and told him about the call and about going back

7arith kept on thinking how he was going to tell Sara that ..

Finaly they're together after all those years and now he leaves her?

More sleepless nights ?

Leave her here with all the french guys ?

He didn't know what to do , but he had to do SOMETHING

And he could start by telling her first

They agreed to meet later that night for some ice cream

Sara was craving a chocolate cone as she told 7arith

" Oh ! Oh god this is the love ! " Sara was saying

She was so into her ice cream and it made 7arith laugh

" Wooow slow down there i might just have to buy you the whole place "

She gave him a look

He made a face

" Why are you so cranky anyway ? " She asked

" Because i could be enjoying that "

" You can go get your own ice cream ! "

" I know i meant your mouth "

" Shutup 7arith ! " She punched him

He laughed

When she was finaly done , they took a walk

7arith had his arm around her and she was wearing his jacket

The night was cold but somehow Sara was warm being near him

Her cheeks and nose were all red and 7arith thought it was the cutest thing he'd ever seen

" Thank you for the ice cream .. " She was saying " I needed it .. "

7arith could hear it in her voice , there was something wrong

" What's wrong baby ? "

She looked at him and saw the concern in his eyes ,

" I was just feeling awful .. " she began

There was more to come he knew it

Here he was.. about to tell her something important , not knowing that Sara herself had something on her mind too

" Tell me .. " They stopped and sat on a chair in the middle of the big dark park

" I'm having an amazing time in Paris with you .. am having the best time of my life really .. i don't want you to get ANY wrong ideas .. "

" I won't .. what is it ? "

" I miss home 7arith .. i feel like it's time for me to go back to Kuwait .. to my family and friends"

7arith smiled " And why would i get the wrong idea ? .. i want you to go back .. i've been telling you to .. " he brushed her short hair

" I don't know .. i don't want to leave here either .. and you're here and Jana and -"

He put a finger on her lips to stop her from talking " you should go back , i want you to go back "

Sara smiled " And what about you ? "

" That's what i wanted to talk to you about .. i was going to tell you am going back .. "

" WHAT ?! are you serious ?! what happened ? "

" They called up Yousif .. we have to go back .."

" Is it bo 3adnan again ? " Sara was knew all about it , since Abdulaziz and the many accidents that had happened , She became an expert

" Something like that .. its work .. "

" What about Jana ?! .. and the baby .. what's Yousif going to do ? "

" He told her i suppose .. he can't take them with him until things cool down a bit .. And you know with the whole Jana and the kidnapping deal .. it's not easy .. he wants to take them but he can't"

Sara sighed " poor Jana .. so you guys are really going now ?"

" yeah .. yeah we are .. Yousif's plane leaves tonight "

" TONIGHT ?! " Sara was surprised " And what about you ?! "

" They told me i have to close up some deals here .. make sure Jana's alright and you .. " he looked deeply into her eyes " You i don't know what to do about .. "

Sara moved closer to hug him

" Why don't you come with me ?" He whispered , his warm breath going through her hair

" WHAT?! " She said as they parted

" Come back to Kuwait with me .. you were just talking about it .. and now am going , it's perfect"

" What about Jana ? .. and .. "

" and what? .. Jana has her aunt here .. and we won't leave for a couple of days , you have nothing left here .. why not ? "

Sara looked scared and unsure

" Come back with me S .. " He said again

She couldn't resist his deep gentle voice , it was seconds 'til he saw her grin at him

She jumped up and rested herself there in his arms , her happiness was equal to a thousand little butterflies flying all around

He was more than happy , he had no worries here left then

She was coming back with him , he needn't to worry about her all the way back home and while he was there ..

" Do you really have to go ? " Jana was saying as she lay in bed with her husband

Baby 3aziiz was with her aunt in the hotel , She thought the couple needed this since Yousif was leaving in only a few hours

" I wish i didn't baby .. " He squeezed her tiny hand

" I'll come shoot you myself if you didn't come back to me soon " she said as she rested her head on his bare chest

He laughed and kissed her hand

" You take care of my baby here , you understand ? " He told her

Her head snapped up and she narrowed her eyes at him " La wallah ?! what about me ?! "

" I know you'll be alright .. you're my little J , i taught you well "

Jana punched his arm

" OuCh ! .. " He complained " See? that's what i meant "

She buried her face in his chest again , he loved that feeling

The feeling he had when he embraced her , the feeling of her tiny body hanging on to his strong warm one ..

he loved every minute of it , it was their last night together and he wanted to spend it all just with her

" Damn am gona miss you boo " he whispered to her

Jana , Aunt Muneera , 7arith , Sara and even baby 3ziiz were at the airport saying goodbye to Yousif

After the final hug Jana gave him , he moved towards his best friend

" take care bro .." 7arith told him

" You too 7arouth .. i mean it "

" Enshallah .. "

He saw Yousif take one last glance at his family

" No worries Ywaisif .. i got it .. " 7arith assured him

Yousif couldn't help but smile , 7arith really was a brother to him

" Aiight .. see you later man " the two men said their farewell and Yousif disappeared further into the gate of the airport

Sara saw Jana's eyes , they had no tears in them , there was only strength ..

She wasn't going to be weak now , she had her baby to take care of ..

She was going to wait for Yousif until he came back to her like he promised

To Sara .. Jana was the strongest girl she knew

A couple more days passed and it was finaly time for Sara and 7arith to go back

Jana and Aunt Muneera couldn't be happier for them

" Sara hurry up ! "

" Am coming am coming ! do you have the tickets ?! "

" Yeah "

" passports ?! "

" S Just get here ! "

7arith was down the staircase waiting for a very late Sara

" How did we become so late again ? " She asked one more time

7arith shook his head " i don't even know , let's go "

The taxii drove them up to the airport

When they were finaly there , they were arguing and complaining about the luggage .. time and everything else in between

But between running , noise and Sara's old lady complaints , 7arith suddenly stopped and turned around to look at her with intense angry eyes

She had no idea what was about to come out of his mouth
