After his lips parted hers , Raseel just stayed there looking into his eyes , she couldn’t look away , she didn’t want to


It was as if she was scared that if she did look away he was going to disappear , she took her time taking in his handsome features , his beautiful smile , his eyes and his cheekbones ..


There was sadness in her look , so much pain .. she didn’t know how to tell him that she wanted to leave , she was hating herself for it



But if I love him I have to do it , she kept thinking


3eesa still searched her face , he was lost .. he wanted to know what was wrong with her , why she was at such at a sad point , it wasn’t the girl he knew , the too happy , perky girl he loved


“ Aren’t you going to tell me what’s wrong? “ he put his hands under her chin


Raseel swallowed hard and began


“ 3eesa .. “ she cupped his face in her tiny hands


“ Am so sorry … but.. i have to leave you “

3eesa just looked at her confused , like he didn’t hear a word he said , he asked again


“ So what is it you were going to tell me again ? “


“ 3eesa .. please don’t make this harder for me “ she fought back her tears


“ What did you just say .. I want to hear you say it again “

“ You’re leaving me ? , am sorry but did I miss something ? “


Oh you did , you missed a lot of things .. you didn’t know that Msa3ad threatened to devastate your family’s future , you didn’t know how bad things get when Msa3ad is behind them, her mind kept going on and on


This part hurt her the most , she barely let out the words

“ WHAT !? “ 3eesa became hysterical “ What do you mean like .. like a wedding ring and a party and … a husband ?! “


She didn’t want to see him like this , he kept his sadness behind his anger


“ yes .. “ she whispered

“ He’s .. he’s a family member .. “


Raseel didn’t want to lie anymore , but this was the only convincing way ..


“ fine .. I’ll come by tomorrow if you want .. I’ll propose “


Raseel didn’t believe what he just said


“ 3eesa.. my uncle .. already said yes.. “


“ WITHOUT ASKING YOU !? “


“ No .. well yes , but… 3eesa please understand the guy came and he was family my uncle couldn’t say no .. “


“ And you WANT to marry him ? “ that was the question that had her


Raseel was quiet, if she said yes then she’s going to break his heart , if she said no then he was going to try ..


“ Baby please .. “ she was feeling helpless


“ Raseel ! , what the hell ! , a few days ago we were in each other’s arms and now you want to get MARRIED to someone you don’t even know ? “


“ 3eesa.. “


“ You didn’t see us settling together one day ? , get married , have babies ? , you didn’t want that Raseel ? , you didn’t want that with me ? ..”


“ 3eesa please.. “ her eyes were watering up now , she did see both of them together with grey hair , him still teasing her and when she gets mad he’d hold her and she forgets everything ..


3eesa lowered his head , his face confused and mad


It was like it was all a dream .. , no .. a NIGHTMARE


“ So you want me out of your life ? “ 3eesa asked


Raseel was quiet


“ Because you’re getting married .. to someone you don’t even know .. “


She was STILL quiet , what could she say !


He nodded his head slowly , and then got up

Raseel looked up at him with tears in her lovely eyes , there goes his picture walking away from her ..


It was the hardest thing she’ll be able to erase from her mind


And then .. he was gone .. he left her , just like she wanted to

When Raseel realized she was all alone , she cried and cried hard , the sound of the waves barely covered her sad moans and cries ..

She was hysterical ..


She dialed Jood’s number with her weak hands and told her to come pick her up because she wasn’t in the shape to drive


Jood was quiet the whole ride , she gave her friend time , she thought of a lot of things that could’ve happened , but RASEEL leaving 3eesa ..no way


NO ONE knew them would think that


Jood took her best friend upstairs to wash up


“ You don’t have to say anything .. just sleep on it .. if you want we’ll talk in the moring .. “ Jood kissed her friends cheek and put on the covers for her


Raseel pretended like she was asleep when she really was replaying the events of tonight ,, the kiss .. the awful talk ..3eesa walking away ..

She wasn’t crying this time because her eyes were all dried out , she just sat there , eyes wide open reminiscing ..


When Raseel woke up she didn’t even say one word and Jood didn’t want to pressure her ..


Exactly 6 months passed and no word from 3eesa ..


Raseel refused to talk about it and kept Msa3ad a secret


Raseel talked occasionally , but never said a word about 3eesa .. no one knew what really went on that night


Ya3goub was informed that 3eesa and Raseel had “Trouble“ as 3eesa described it


But no one really believed that , any couple can have problems.. but not 3eesa and Reseel


3eesa spent his days at the sea , Ya3goub tried to cheer his friend up , and he would eventually , but there was something still missing .. Raseel took a part of him that he’ll never get back


Raseel spent her days at home .. when Msa3ad asked to see her she would lie about where she was going and meet him secretly


Of course his verbal abuse wasn’t back because him and Raseel barely had a conversation so they could have a fight..


Raseel would just sit there , watch Msa3ad say words he didn’t mean and then nod or fake a smile


When he wanted to touch her or even get near her she would get scared .. but he wouldn’t do anything ..


Not like before ..


But he still said awful words to her that hurt her heart .. but of course he’d be the last one to know


3 more months passed and Raseel would get concerning calls from her mother , of course she said that everything was fine with her father but Raseel of all people knew her mom when was trying to hide something ..


Jood and Sara and all of her other friend’s tried to cheer Raseel up whenever they could .. it was a huge accomplishment to see the corners of Raseel’s mouth twitch a little or to hear her actually join the conversation


She was a wreck , but she kept everything inside her so well hidden


Just like 3eesa ..


Both lovers were too lost to even know what happened to them


Ya3goub and Jood were good of course , but their conversations always took a turn and became a talk about their best friend’s Raseel and 3eesa ..


Who were madly in love , the reason for Jood and Ya3goub meeting each other in the first place

It was a closed case , no one had any evidence .. no suspects .. no nothing


Dana still tried her ways on Ya3goub , but of course they were new ones , she just followed the method of making Ya3goub more jealous by rubbing her relationship with 7amad in his face , talking about her ‘ LOVELY ‘ boyfriend whatever chance she got


One day , Dana’s father came home declaring that there was a husband for Dana .. a very handsome , rich young man

Dana was startled , it was the last thought on her mind to get married , to get married to a man other that Ya3goub that is


Till someday her brilliant thought came ..


No one knew about it , not even her friend’s , but Dana was sure .. that this , was the deal breaker


She was going to get Ya3goub for REAL this time


Ya3goub came home tired one day , after a long day doing 7adag with 3eesa , he walked into his bedroom barely having a vision of what’s around him , he shut the door and took his shirt off , when suddenly he realizesd , Dana sat there on the edge of his bed .. crying


“ Dana ? “


Dana just sniffed and sobbed


“ What’s wrong ? “ he asked awkwardly , he even forgot he was shirtless ! , Dana caught him by surprise



“ Ya3goub ! , I don’t know how to tell you this ..but..
I Have no one else to tell .. bas you’re the only one who can understand ..”
