Yousif woke up the next morning to find the bed where Jana slept empty ..









His heart sank when he couldn't find her there , he didn't even know why

Her tiny body didn't lay there still ..

Her beautiful curls disappeared ..

Then when he heard laughs coming from outside his confusion went away ,







He took a glance to see Jana and his mother sitting outside in the garden , he remembered what she told him last night










How her face looked when she saw him next to that model ,






" Hey honey ! " Alex kissed her son on his cheek as soon as she saw him





" Hey mom , " He stole a glance at Jana who was sitting on a chair drinking orange juice






She looked away from his gaze













She was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt that Alex had given her ,











" Yousif darling, Jana was just telling me about the awful thing that happened at the airport ! " Alex was saying






" What awful thing ? " He asked , biting a slice of toast






" The people who stole your bags ! , people here can be kind of weird " she said shaking her head









Yousif choked on his toast and Jana laughed at him







" Yousif wanted to go after them but he didn't want to leave me , " she smiled a sarcastic smile at him















He looked at her from the corner of his eye " Oh yeah .. the thieves .. "















" They wanted to take Jana away too ! i could only IMAGINE what would happen if my lovely Jana got kidnapped , but am sure she would make them live in HELL for it " He put an arm around her forcing a smile

" You should know " she told him fighting a smile

" Oh my phone ! hold on , " His mother answered turning away from them









He tightened his grip around her and moved his hand to her neck playfuly like he wnated to choke her.. pulling her face closer to him ,















" Why do i have a bad feeling about this ? " he asked her












Jana was still quiet , shocked from his sudden behavior











" SO ! " Alex suddenly came grinning " Oh am sorry ! " She put her hand on her mouth













" Was i interrupting something? " she asked with a grin















Yousif quickly let go of Jana and sat straight













" ANYWAY ! i was thinking we take Jana out ! let her have fun , buy her a few things ! " His mom said















Yousif just looked at his mom confused ,













" Why are you looking at me like that? , you didn't bring your wife to Rome just to hide her in my old house did you ?! LETS GO ! " Alex was the only one happy about this















" If only she knew " Jana whispered to Yousif ,













He couldn't help but smile













They took Alex's car to wander in the streets of Rome , they were beautiful













And the weather was amazing













" here we aaaaaaarrrrreee ! " Alex said in a singing-like tone






" Welcome ! to Via Condotti my dears ! "






Jana got out to see the beautiful street lined up with the most popular italian Designer boutiques





She gasped at the sight , she was in her own personal HEAVEN





" Mooom Shoppiiing ?! " Yousif moaned like a little boy ,






" well ofcourse shopping ! , am sure you took your wife shopping before ! "





" Shopping yaaaay ! " He said again lifting his strong hands in a cheerful sarcastic way ,





Jana rolled her eyes ,





As they took a nice walk going in and out of the tasteful shops , Alex insisted that Jana buys stuff





And ofcourse , Yousif had to pay ..






" La la eshteray 7yaty , considering we had a theft .. your bags are gone you can't keep borrowing my mother's stuff ! " he told her sarcastically




But at times , Jana thought ..




If he wasn't her kidnapper , and if she didn't KNOW for a fact that he hated this ..






She could've sworn she saw him smile a few times ..






As Jana tried on clothes , going in and out of fitting rooms






He was speechless , he just watched her try on a thing after the other






He didn't know if the clothes were nice or if Jana made them look amazing ,






Sometimes he would just stand outside .. but he couldn't help taking a glance to see what she was doing inside





And boy did his mother enjoy her company !






" You know i never had a daughter , but am so happy that yousif brought you here to me , your mother must be so proud "





Jana's heart sank when she heard those words , yousif saw a few tears forming around her beautiful eyes ..





And he was torn






" I don't have a mother eaither right now so .. we're even " she said

As they walked , they saw a small little boutique ..






Long , pretty wedding dresses stood nicely behind the windows ..






Alex stopped and looked at Jana " you know i would LOVE to see you in one of those .. "





She looked at Yousif " Am sure you had SOME sort of party when you got married .. "






They were both quiet






" No ? no party ? , No DRESS ?! " Alex looked horrified





" Umm .. we .. we had alot of work to do .. " Jana said quickly ,






" oh" Alex nodded disappoitned ,





They continued walking , but Yousif still stood there looking at the shop ..






He saw the dresses , the happy couple inside ..






He wondered how beautiful Jana would look in one of those ,






Then he quickly snapped out of it when he heard his mother call after him






" Oh dear i must go ! " She said ,






" I missed 8 calls from Paula ! give me honey .. " She took the shopping bags from Yousif






" I'll take these , you go have a nice tour and am sure you'll find a taxii around when you want to go home! "





" What !? No .. mom ! "





" Oh you're in the most romantic places on EARTH and you're with your WIFE ! ENJOY IT ! " she told him and winked at Jana





She waved at them and got into her car







" So what now ? " Jana asked






" I don't know " He replied in an angry voice






" you know if it wasn't for you we wouldn't be here right now " he continued





Jana just stared at him , and then looked away ..






" Fine we'll find a taxii .. " She looked at the roads for a sign of a taxii cab , but there wasn't any





" Mi scusi , signore " A little boy stood behind Yousif





" Un fiore per la donna ? " the boy asked holding a red rose in his hands

The boy just looked confused and Jana giggled





Yousif took the flower and gave him some money





The little boy said something again in Italian and ran as fast as possible shouting happily






" Here , " Yousif handed her the flower






" You don't actually believe there are people around here that work for your boss do you ? "

Yousif chuckled " Apparently not , no one came for you did they ? "






When she heard those words , Jana's eyes couldn't take it






They were filled with tears ,






If her father was alive , he would've found her in no time

Jana was murmuring angrily as she walked ,

The tourists were thousands , Jana's tiny body quickly disappeared from his eyes






" Jana !!! Jana !!! " He kept screaming ,






She was nowhere to be found ,






That's when he started to panic






The people looked at him like he was crazy





Where the hell was he going to find her !?





Yousif kept looking for 3 hours , the shops were closing .. night almost came and Jana wasn't with him !







He started panicing ..






He wasnt that scared because he lost the kidnapped girl and his boss would kill him ,






But because he was scared FOR her ..






He couldn't call the house and ask for her , he didn't want to get his mom worried too ..





He searched almost 4 streets !




He looked in every corner , asked every single shop owner ..





When he was finally about to give up , he saw a group of Italian guys standing around a beautiful , tiny kuwaiti -looking girl ..





" JANA !! " he shouted and hurried towards her





" Enty yannaitay !! why the hell did you run away like that !!?? you know how Worried i was !!?? are you out of your MIND ? " his nostrills were flaring , his face was almost red and his hands were twitching





"I .. " she tried to say

Then he suddenly stopped , looking at the scared faces around him

" Madree they were helping me find a taxii ! "






" And you believed that ! "





Jana's face was scared , her eyes were red and her nose too ..






She looked like she's been crying for hours ..





He stopped to notice what he was doing ..

A guy murmered something in Italian , Yousif had no idea what he was saying .. but the guy was PISSED





Yousif looked at him ..






He waited until he was done ,

The guy looked confused but continued to talk






And before he could finish ,

THe guy looked TERRIFIED




He looked like a bug next to Yousif

Jana's eyes were watering again ,

Jana bit her lips and then tears came down her lovely cheeks ,

But she couldn't help it ,

He couldn't stand looking at her like that , he pulled her face and started wiping her tears





One after the other ..

" I was worried too , i didn't know what to do .. or where to go .. " she said between sobs

He only smiled ,





When he put her down again , he began to say

Jana looked at him , waiting for more

And then she looked at the ground ,

Jana giggled , he wiped what remained on her cheeks

He suddenly walked inside the small gelato place next to them ,






he got out holding two ice-cream cones ,






Jana laughed so hard when she saw him






" Here , " He gave her a Chocolate ice-cream cone






"How do you know i love Chocolate !? " She asked him

She laughed agian . harder this time ..






It really sounded like it came from the bottom of her heart







And he was glad , he didn't know what came over him when he saw her like that ..






He just couldn't stand to see her in pain again ..






" This is the LOVE ! " She said through her mouth full of ice-cream






" Easy there ! " he laughed wiping her mouth






" What are you , 5 ? "






" Well excuse me MR. ana 7a6 sprinkles 3la my cone ! " she told him






" Hey ! everyone loves sprinkles 3la their cones ! "






she giggled ,






" You know i look funny like this , " She gestred to her half torn jean






He watched her leg , then took her leg and tore the other half

She rolled her eyes " Its a combination of a77 and off , it came out like that ! "







" uh-huh " he nodded






After that , yousif found a Taxii






Yousif murmured to him something in Italian






Jana thought they were going home , untill the Taxii driver stopped and Yousif got out






" Where are we ? " Jana asked

No one looked at her , the place was noisy already ..





Yousif laughed at her ,

When Jana turned her back to the fountain , she lifted her hand ready to throw the coin backwards , when she accidentally hit Yousif's nose

He grinned at her ,






" You scared me ! " She hit him






" We're not even CLOSe to being even .. when you left my heart almost jumped out of my chest trying to find you "





when he said that , Jana stared deeply into his eyes ..






He stared back ,






The two stood there for a moment ,






Yousif remembered when he first saw her ..







Jana remembered when she stood near the table drinking water ..

Jana turned around to see an angry looking woman , saying stuff in Italian ..






She did NOt look happy ,






Yousif giggled and dragged Jana out of the woman's way before she hits her






" I didn't get to make a wish Yousif " She told him ,






" Next time , " he told her quitely






They took a taxii home , the trip was very quiet ..






Each thinking about what happened today ..






They both had no idea what their hearts were saying ,






Because they didn't want to hear it
