The sky started to get darker , the twinkling lights of the roads were shining so beautifuly







The atmosphere was warm although the weather had a cold breeze







" You can stop right here , " Yousif told the Taxii driver







" Yousif the house isn't here.. " Jana looked up from the window







" I know , " he took her hand , paid the Taxii driver and got out






" Where are we going ? "






" You'll never learn will you ? " He looked at her as if he was still wondering







" Fine i'll shutup "







" Good "







He looked at her from the corner of his eye and he smiled







She was puckering her lips like she was angry , he ADORED it when she did that









She looked like a little kid , he loved the innocence in her









" Bas stop right here " he told her








" You want to let me stay here in the middle of the road !? , you want to get us killed !!? oh my god you want to get us killed in the middle of the road !! ambee ! " Jana looked left and right trying to look for a way to escape









Yousif threw back his head in a big laugh , he held her arms as if to stop her from running away

" Hedneee !! hedneee you want to kill me w you don't want me to struggle b3d !? let me run for my life ! "

" Stop it yal habla ! " he was so weak from laughing at her he couldn't keep her in one place

And then a big bursting sound interrupted the quiet atmosphere






They both looked up to see a group of colorful fireworks in all shapes forming in the sky

Jana's mouth dropped in astonishment from the beauty of the scene

Yousif didn't let go of her but watched too

But none of them seemed to notice ..

They were both speechless , standing in the middle of the street looking up at the dark sky being lit up by the beautiful work of art

" My mom told me about this place .. i wanted to show you " he said into her ear







She felt her entire body shiver from that tiny touch of breath from his mouth that brushed over her ear so gently

She closed her eyes for a brief moment and he watched over her head , she was so tiny on his hands , next to his mascular perfect body

But she seemed to fit there so perfectly and effortlessly ..

A wierd feeling came to him again , like he didn't WANT to let go of her

It felt so right

Just then a car came from around the corner ,







It was going at such a speed that they both could feel the ground get irritated by its tires too

Yousif held her tighter and pulled her away from the road until they were on the other side






" Aaii ! Stupidos ! " An angry man stuck his head out from the window shouting at them






" Oh my god ! we just had a near death experience ! " Jana got out of Yousif's grip and turned to face him






" When you have my job , you do it every day .. its only fun for the first few weeks though , then it gets close and VERY disturbing "








She laughed his favourite laugh , the laugh of a 5 year old who'd just heard a new joke that he perfectly understood





He smiled and the corners of his hazel eyes crinkled






" So we WERE out there so you could kill me ! " She narrowed her eyes at him like she figured the mystery out " I KNEW it ! "







" Yeah but i decided i'll let you live another day if you do things my way again .. " He shrugged and put both hands inside his pockets






She still narrowed her beautiful brown eyes at him , her body in a defense mode " What IS your way Mr. tough job? "





" Easy .. NO SHOPPING ! "







She laughed again and looked back at the fireworks that were no longer there ..






" We missed it " she puckered her lips again

She looked at him , startled by his fast changing behavior







" What now ? " he asked






" You were nicer just 5 seconds ago ! "







He lowered his head to her level , looked into her eyes and said







" Don't try to figure out my personality princess , no one was good at that anyway .. we're here on business and the fact that i kidnapped you is still true "








His face was serious and his words were very calm which made her shiver out of fear this time ,






She gulped and her eyes were bigger with confusion , he fought back the smile forming on his mouth so hard







" Let's go " He said in a quiet voice moving ahead of her





She pouted again and followed him home ,





" Heeeeeey you guys ! how was your day !? " Alex greeted them as soon as they walked through the door





" GREAT " Yousif grinned and pulled Jana closer to him with both his hands ,





Jana's mouth dropped and she frowned at him , he only smiled wider






" Oh you two lovebirds ! you remind me of my older daaaaays , "Alex looked up remembering with a smile ,











Yousif looked down at Jana who was giving him the deathstare with her mouth still open , he lifted her soft chin up with his finger while still smiling at her











" I MADE PASTA ! " Alex suddenly declared holding her fork as high as her long hands would go as if she just remembered the big news











" GREEEAAAT ! but we ate mom , thanks anyway am sure its wonderful .." He gave her a kiss on the cheek and dragged Jana upstairs







" Hey .. HEY !! " Jana hissed to him , " ballah y3ny ana yo3ana ! "





" Too bad isn't it ? " He grinned again

" Because am your husband " He smiled as he suddenly stepped closer to her body forcing her back to get stuck to the wall along the endless stairs ..







He took her by surprise once again , but she wasn't about to let him take control






She pouted again and said ," Well what if am a crappy wife ?






" it JUST makes you even sexier " he gave her a crooked smile





Now THAT she didn't expect !





" Oh DEAR ! i thought you two were upstairs by now , ohh excuse me-eeee-eee " Alex said with a laugh





" Good ooolllld tiiiiimes " She murmured as she walked away from them still laughing





Yousif was the one frowning now " Too much information from my mother , "





Jana giggled and got out of the corner he was trapping her in , taking advantage of his distraction






She flew across the stairs to the bedroom , he watched her in amazement and laughed shaking his head






He got inside the room to see her in the middle of the room with the shopping bags scattered around her





She huffed and put a lock of her curls behind one ear ,





" What's the matter wifey ? " he asked her ,





She glared at him " NOT FUNNY " she said in a firm voice






" Oh i think it's adorable , " his eyes were crinkled again with his sexy smile






" We forgot to buy - " And then she stopped , realising what she was about to say






" What? " Yousif asked , a part of her felt like he KNEW what she wanted to say ..

" Oh commoooon you can tell me baby "






" Okay you NEED to stop doing that ! "

" I forgot to buy .. p- .. pp- " She had trouble saying it " PJ's " she said with a sigh







" BAS !? , we'll go get you ones soon sweetheart "







" I thought you said you will STOP diong that ! "







"Advice .. Don't you EVER take a word of a gang member , " He winked at her and went inside the bathroom ,






She huffed agian and continued going through her shoppping bags






All the things she got were beautiful of course , she remembered all the times she went shopping with all her best friends ..






How much fun they had , she wanted to go home ..






She missed home ..







But there was this one person she didn't miss






And this one person didn't make her too eager to go just yet ..







She got up and headed to the closet room -which had the bathroom inside it- to put all her stuff






When suddenly the door opens and Yousif steps out , wearing a towel and nothing more than that






Jana threw all her bags in the air and closed her eyes with both hands like a little kid who didn't want to see a scary scene






But that scene was anything BUT scary






His hair was dripping wet and his body was perfect out of the shirt just as it was wearing it






" What's the matter ? " Yousif asked confused , but when he glanced down at himself he realized






" Ohh." he nodded





He was never used to the idea of a girl shutting her eyes from the picture of him in that state at all ,





" Am Sorry ! " She said quickly





" Jana " He started to say





" Am sorry am sorry am sorry ! wallah i didn't know ! "






He laughed and that irritated her , without thinking she put her hands down and stared at him angrily






" What's so funny !? "





" Nothin' " he smiled ,





" She looked away from his face in order NOT to get distracted , the only man she's ever seen naked was Brad Pitt in a movie she can't remember the name of





" You know we're legally married right ? "






Jana didn't answer she just looked up at the ceiling

" GOOD , " She said and walked out of the room




Half a second later, she was peeking inside " Just so you know " she began to say





He looked at her amused,





" I wasn't looking away for the reason you think i was looking away for "

" That you think you're too hot for any girl to look away from "






And with that her head disappeared , Yousif laughed quietely to himself and started to get in dry clothes







Once he got out , he found her wrapped in the bedsheets once again , with her back to him ..






It was kind of a habit now .. that he checks on her everytime before he went to bed ..






Maybe a part of him was too afraid that he may NOT find her there one day ..






That she wouldn't be there when he gets back






Maybe he ddin't know it yet but his concern for Jana was growing inside him with every single day
